Cozy Christmas Eve: How Linkwell’s Team Turned Work Hours Into Warm Memories
3:00 PM · Sweet Creations & Shared Smiles
As afternoon light filled the open lounge, tables were laid with fresh strawberries, grapes, kiwi, hawthorn berries, and an array of nuts. By a portable stove, sugar melted slowly into a clear, golden syrup—the first activity, DIY Tanghulu, was about to begin.
Everyone started a little clumsily—fruit fell off skewers, sugar coats went on unevenly—but soon the space buzzed with playful experimentation. Some paired orange slices with blueberries, calling them “Sunshine Bites”; others tucked almonds between strawberry halves for extra crunch. Fingers grew sticky, laughter echoed, and the air sweetened with the comforting scent of caramelizing sugar.
Right after, casual team games brought everyone closer. In “Charades Relay,” gestures grew hilariously exaggerated. During “The Silent Line-Up,” teams communicated only with nods and smiles to sequence themselves by birth month—and somehow it worked. Whether teams won or lost, everyone walked away with small gifts and lighter hearts.
The snack corner, filled with holiday treats like peppermint brownies, spiced cookies, and warm apple cider, remained a lively spot throughout. Fresh fruit was artfully arranged—watermelon cut into stars, pineapples shaped like trees—each detail quietly reflecting the care of the event’s organizers.

Dusk · Cooking Together, Feasting Together
When evening approached, it was time to co-create our Christmas dinner. Instead of catered dishes, colleagues turned chefs, gathering around outdoor cooking stations. The star was a hearty Korean-style Army Stew (Budae Jjigae), simmering with sausage, kimchi, tofu, and ramyun noodles. Each department also pitched in: Sales brought fragrant garlic butter shrimp, Tech served up crispy potato pancakes, and Content prepared a refreshing pomegranate and feta salad.
The stew pot bubbled invitingly, its spicy aroma warming the cool air. Some tended to the heat, others seasoned and stirred, many simply gathered around, chatting about everything from work projects to travel dreams. The process of cooking side by side felt just as meaningful as the meal to come.
Once the food was served, the feast felt truly communal. People moved freely between tables, sharing portions of stew, passing plates of pancakes, and toasting with sparkling juice or mulled wine. In the glow of string lights and steaming pots, hierarchies dissolved—we were simply a group sharing food, stories, and a cozy winter evening.

Why It Mattered
This year’s gathering wasn’t about a lavish venue or a perfect program. It was about tangibility—rolling up sleeves, skewering fruit, seasoning stew, and laughing over little mishaps. It was in those unscripted moments that we saw one another not just as coworkers, but as creators, helpers, and storytellers.
True connection often grows from making something together. This holiday, we didn’t just celebrate Christmas—we celebrated teamwork, kindness, and the simple joy of being present together.
Wishing you all a season filled with warmth and togetherness.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
